Life, they say, is a journey—not just through cities and landscapes, but through the uncharted terrains of the soul. Mine was a spiritual odyssey, guided by a force that felt omnipresent and magnetic: Shiva. What began as an inner whisper grew into a melody, a hymn that resonated deeply within, shaping my thoughts, dreams, and experiences.
The Call to Ujjain: A City Drenched in Divinity
My journey began in Ujjain, the ancient city that stands as a testament to time and devotion. Walking along the banks of the Kshipra River, I felt an inexplicable pull toward the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. The chants of “Om Namah Shivaya” filled the air as if the entire cosmos was humming in unison with my thoughts. I bought a small Shiva figurine—a simple yet profound token of this awakening.
Each evening, as the aarti lit up the horizon, I felt a sense of belonging, as if my spirit had always been tethered to this eternal energy.

The Desert Mirage: Envisioning Shiva in Rajasthan
Traveling to Udaipur, I found myself captivated by the rugged beauty of Rajasthan. It was here, amidst the arid deserts and shimmering mirages, that I created a video envisioning Shiva—a wanderer like me—traversing the golden sands. The thought of him, a cosmic force walking barefoot in the desert, filled my heart with awe. It was as if he wasn’t just in my imagination but truly present, shaping every grain of sand beneath his feet.

The soundtrack to this vision? Melodies like “Shiv Kailasho Ke Vasi” and “Bholey Charaniy”—songs that transcended language and culture, weaving their magic into my creative process.
The journey wasn’t confined to the waking world. During a road-trip, Shiva entered my dreams. I can’t explain the imagery entirely—it was vivid, surreal, yet comforting. Perhaps it was a glimpse of him, perhaps a reflection of my subconscious. Either way, it left me with an unshakable feeling of connection, a reminder that he resides not only in the heavens but within each of us.
As I look back, I realize that Shiva’s presence wasn’t confined to Ujjain, Udaipur, or the deserts of Rajasthan. He was—and is—everywhere: in the air I breathe, the songs I sing, and the dreams I dream. This journey, though deeply spiritual, is far from over. Shiva’s energy continues to inspire me, guiding my steps and filling my heart with boundless wonder.
